I love a good beer garden, especially when its at a local town’s outdoor festival. Its usually always a good time with good friends.now most times the kids are separated from the festivities. Of course there are those rare instances where the beer drinkers mesh with the kids.tge result is kid entertainment among adults. Throw in a few drinks and the kids’ toys magically become the adults too. Ahhh the greatness of september in NJ!

the big pink-dominoes
i have this little past-time of just browsing the music blogs looking for the next tune/band i will enjoy. i know its not a highly original idea, but enjoyable none the less. now for me i have to sift through tons of music that just doesnt do it for me. i really am not sure what leads me to a tune. it really has no rhyme or reason, and stretches across the board. a few weeks ago i came across this track from the big pink’s new release “a brief history of love” to be released mid september. i would imagine there are some psychedelic rock type tracks just based on the release of the single “velvet”. not really my style, but when they step out into tunes like “dominos” than this release will be kick ass. i hope its more of this and not to trippy!

this is my favorite track from cardinology!! the only live version i heard was one of the Australian shows. it really didnt do the album version justice. oh yeah, i totally agree on the cardinology tshirt. i can wear it, but i cant breathe out all the way!!
Third fuckin time this week i locked my keys in the house
sure we all have neighbors, be it in an apartment,condo, or the house next door. they all provide entertainment for those that are paying attention. hell i am someone’s neighbor and maybe i am the object of secret laughter. right now my entertainment of choice is my new neighbor. i have the unfortunate luck of living in a garden apartment, so my neighbors are just outside my front door. well this lady, and she is a lady well into her 40s or so it seems, has the talent of enjoying COORS LIGHT. now lets take the first time i noticed just the other day. it was probably round 9 in the evening and i was walking my dog. as i exited my door there she was sitting on the corner of the planter on the phone enjoying a cig and beer. no problem there. we exchanged some pleasantries and both went about our business. now fast forward to about 12 or 1 in the morning now. i can still hear her talking away with her man-friend/apartment-mate, but hey there is nothing wrong with that cause who hasnt been up talking and drinking that late? i know i have. i am trying to sleep and can hear all this, but luckily i am still mostly sleeping. ok, so now its 7 in the morning and i am walking the dog before work. i come around the corner and there she is sitting on the planter, on the phone, and pouring a new beer!! i double take and than notice that she is sitting outside in her underwear and tank top. a little freaky due to the fact that she has that tweaker style body. i almost start laughing aloud, but i do not out of courtesy to her. what a champ!!! not only has she been drinking through the night but she has lost most of her clothing, and is still able to sit outside and have a phone conversation. why couldnt she be hot and my age. we would get along fabulously!! i look forward to her next adventure.

i have always loved the beats in hip-hop music. i think its just genius what the dj can do by rethinking someone elses music and making it their own. i dont know much about the artists history, but i do know a “real” hip-hop track when i hear it. i am not talking about the form known as gangsta rap. i am talking about the tunes that make you move around in joy with a smile. one that says life is fine and lets have a good time. this track does just fine with all the above!
